TO LISTEN AND RESPOND: Dialogue as Feminist Method
Our 2025 conference encompasses the book launches of two recent edited collections. The opening is followed by dinner and the annual Janette Gray RSM Lecture. This year’s lecture is presented by keynote speaker and Janette Gray Scholar, Julia Thwaites, Restoring humanity to poetry with Giorgio Agamben and Jacques Lacan.
Saturday brings a program of papers exploring the theory, practice and impact of dialogue as feminist method.

Our 2023 conference, co-hosted by WATAC Inc. (Women and the Australian Church) and the Australian Collaborators in Feminist Theologies (ACFT).
We explore the ongoing place of stories and narrative within feminist theologies, the varity of ways in which stories can be heard and held, and the place of storytellers in communities of hope.

TERROR IN THE BIBLE: Rhetoric, Gender and Violence
The editors and contributors of “Terror in the Bible: Rhetoric, Gender and Violence” will join the Australian Collaborators in Feminist Theologies to launch this new publication.
There will be brief reflections from Sharon Hollis (Minister and President, Uniting Church in Australia), on shaping the VICTAS Program on Family and Domestic Violence, and Stacey Wilson (Ministry Consultant, Ember Network) on undertaking a literature review and qualitative evaluation of the Final Report , [Vol.16: Religious Institutions] from Royal Commission into Institutional Response to Child Sexual Abuse]

Power, Authority, Love
Australian Collaborators in Feminist Theologies with the University of Divinity are pleased to host their annual conference 11-12 October 2019. Papers at the conference accompany plenary presentations by Seforosa Caroll (Sydney), Sally Douglas (Melbourne), Janice McRandal (Brisbane) and Nicola Slee (Birmingham/Amsterdam). The conference will envelop the annual Jan Gray Memorial Lecture also to be presented by Nicola Slee.
